Travel Challenge Day 10

Well, this wraps up the Travel Challenge.

A big thank you to Sharon from Gum Trees and Galaxies who nominated me to participate in the Travel Photo Challenge, posting 10 photos over 10 days without explanation. I have enjoyed choosing and posting the photos, but I must confess that the “no explanation” has been hard. I love taking photos, but it is the story that I have been itching to tell.

Sharon is a fellow blogger from my home town here in Toowoomba, QLD and her blog Gum Trees and Galaxies is a great read for those with a passion for the environment, a keen interest in getting out in the outdoors and a love of reading. Sharon’s posts are always topical, often amusing and very thought provoking. Do check out her book box venture – I am looking forward to the next release in Autumn.

I am also looking forward to getting out and exploring our local region a bit more this year. While travelling interstate might be a bit risky, it is often surprising to discover what is available right on our doorstep or within close proximity to Toowoomba.
