Travel Challenge Day 8

Well it’s Day 8 of the Travel Challenge and with state borders popping up and down, it seems much safer for us to keep our travelling closer to home. There are plenty of little gems waiting to be discovered in our local regions. Do you have a favourite local place?

I have been nominated by Sharon from Gum Trees and Galaxies to participate in a Travel Photo Challenge. The idea is to post 10 photos in 10 days without explanation and nominate somebody else to join in the fun.

I was delighted to discover another blogger from my home town here in Toowoomba, QLD and  Gum Trees and Galaxies is a great read for those with a passion for the environment, a keen interest in getting out in the outdoors and a love of reading. Sharon’s posts are always topical, often amusing and very thought provoking. If you are an Australian reader, or have family living in Australia, do check out her book box venture.
