Day 4 of the Travel Challenge and I hope you have been enjoying this trip through memory lane. You see some funny sights when you travel. What has been the funniest thing to tickle your fancy on your travels?
I have been nominated by Sharon from Gum Trees and Galaxies to participate in a Travel Photo Challenge. The idea is to post 10 photos in 10 days without explanation and nominate somebody else to join in the fun.
I was delighted to discover another blogger from my home town here in Toowoomba, QLD and Gum Trees and Galaxies is a great read for those with a passion for the environment, a keen interest in getting out in the outdoors and a love of reading. Sharon’s posts are always topical, often amusing and very thought provoking.
An Open Invitation
Here is an open invitation to any reader who loves travelling to join in the challenge. Great photography is not required, just a love for discovering new places, a sense of humour and the enjoyment of creating memories.
Happy Armchair Travelling!
Bicheno, Tasmania?

No, Granite Island, Victor Harbor, South Australia. Used to be fairy penguin colonies. Unfortunately decimated by idiotic vandals.

You used to get across to Granite Island by way of a Clydsdale called Horace – but that was a long time ago too.

Yes, there’s a long history of the clydesdales and Granite Island. And it’s come full circle. Keep watching.
