2020 was a strange year. We stayed home, social distanced and connected with the world outside via the internet. While armchair travelling can have its benefits, like Sharon, I too have been missing the beach. I love nothing better than to squelch my toes in the sand, smell the salty air and eat fish and chips on the beach.
I have been nominated by Sharon from Gum Trees and Galaxies to participate in a Travel Photo Challenge. The idea is to post 10 photos in 10 days without explanation and nominate somebody else to join in the fun.
I was delighted to discover another blogger from my home town here in Toowoomba, QLD and Gum Trees and Galaxies is a great read for those with a passion for the environment, a keen interest in getting out in the outdoors and a love of reading. Sharon’s posts are always topical, often amusing and very thought provoking. If you are an Australian reader, or have family living in Australia, do check out her book box venture.
